BEST CARE PLAN BOOK EVER!!!

If anyone has had as much difficulty finding the perfect book as I have, they know whats up. So I literally spent 20 hours of research searching for the PERFECT care plan book. After my exhaustive study, I found this little dream of a book!! So why this one?? I chose this book because it gives you EVERYTHING you need to create an A+++ care plan. It includes disease processes, the nursing diagnosis related to the said medical condition, outcomes, and the best part- it includes both interventions with ALL the scientific rationales in an easy to read and fluent manner that makes writing up those dreaded care plans a breeze!! I would strongly recommend this book due to it's all inclusive style and really mean it when I say "This is the best care plan book ever". I bought the 2nd edition which was way cheaper than the newer version for pennies on the dollar and it is just as good as the one's my friends bought for $50 dollars. It's a must have and can be used for all area's of study as it includes Med Surg, Psych, Peds, and OB sections, so you can literally use it all through school!! I am thrilled and I usually don't leave reviews but I hope you take my word that this book is a MUST HAVE!! :)

This Nursing Care Plan book sucks. I bought this because the reviews were good but I have no idea why! There are limited care plans in here. I thought there would be a wide aray but that's not the case. The diagnoses I had to do weren't even in here for the particular disease process. A better recommendation is "A nursing handbook" by Betty Ackley & Gail Ladwig (8th edition)

Mike Palmquist is an Associate Provost at Colorado State University, where he leads university-wide efforts to enhance learning and teaching in face-to-face, blended, and distance courses. A professor of English and University Distinguished Teaching Scholar, he is recognized nationally for his work in computer-supported writing instruction and, in particular, in designing Web-based instructional materials to support writing. His most recent Web-based projects are Writing@CSU (http://writing.colostate.edu), an open-access, educational Web site for writers and writing instructors, and the WAC Clearinghouse (http://wac.colostate.edu), the leading site for communication across the curriculum. He is the author of numerous articles and essays on writing and teaching with technology and writing across the curriculum. If this is not your writing style, stay away

Even though I hate English, I had to take it for my degree. This book was just ok. There were a lot of concepts that just did not match my writing style. I ended up only using it for the mandatory assignments that we had to use the book with. Other than that, I stayed away. I did like how cheap it was.

Poetry is a hard art form to review. I will say this, however; Hilborn really Poor's his heart into these pages. Its a bit short but if you're into poetry it is worth every penny. Neil Hilborn is one of my favorite spoken word poets. I came across him and Rudy Fransisco a few years ago and I've been in love since. When I heard that Neil released his own book full of his poems, I had to buy it. I received it a few days ago and I'm blown away and can't stop reading. I saw some of his spoken word online a few months ago and automatically fell in love with his poetry. I can't do the book justice in a review but I would recommend it to anyone. About the Author
Winston Graham (1908-2003) is the author of more than 40 novels, and is best known for the highly successful Poldark series. His novels have been translated into 17 languages and six have been filmed, the most notable being Marnie directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Winston Graham was a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and in 1983 was awarded the OBE.

POLDARK VS. WARLEGGAN: WHEN TEMPESTS ROAR

The Poldark saga continues, spanning the years 1792-94. Ross and his cousin Francis are trying to keep afloat a mine that they have maintained for some time. But Ross is hard put to get the necessary additional financing and finds himself falling deeper in debt. George Warleggan firmly establishes himself in Cornish society and as an economic powerholder in Cornwall.

The growing power and influence of Warleggan throughout the novel is highlighted, as are the lives of Ross & Demelza, Francis & Elizabeth Poldark, Dr. Dwight Enys (a close and trusted friend of Ross, whose radical approach to practicing medicine has made him both loved and scorned throughout the district), and Caroline Penwenen. Ross and Demelza, in particular, experience some struggles that put their marriage to the test. There are also some surprising, relationships which take root among some of the other main characters, which are described in rich and colorful detail.

Once again, Winston Graham has written a novel that grips and holds the reader throughout, and ends as a cliffhanger. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

A great series

I love the Poldark series. I think the author is very creative and adds interesting events to make it captivating and truly interesting. Also, there is a spectrum of great characters that are so colorful and engaging that one wants to know more. I love Demelza, I love the way she loves Ross, her life, who she is and how she approaches things, her strength and beliefs. So when Ross did what he did, it almost broke my heart. I was heartbroken with her. I was betrayed by Ross. I loved Ross, for the rebel he was, for the person who helped his poor and hardworking tenants. I do understand, Elizabeth was his love and was denied him, but really? It was too much to handle to be betrayed by a character like that. I know his life was not easy, constantly fighting for survival, but he had a loving wife, a child, a place to live, people who loved him and looked up to him, work and trust. So sad.

A Must Read

Excellent read, as are all of the Poldark series. I've read the entire series twice. Winston Graham is a fabulous writer, and the Poldark saga takes you on an exciting gallop through 18th century Cornwall. The characters are complex but the author makes it easy to get to know them well. Highly recommended.

About the Author

Dominick Salvatore is Professor of Economics and Business at Fordham University. He was chairman of the New York Academy of Sciences and is consultant to the Economic Policy Institute in Washington, the United Nations, and various multinational banks and corporations. His research has been published in more than 100 journal articles in leading business and economics journals and presented at numerous national and international conferences.

Ravikesh Srivastava is presently Director of AKG Institute of Management, Ghaziabad. He has more than 20 years of experience in teaching, research, consultancy, and training (MDP), including 5 years at IIM Lucknow. He has worked as a consultant for leading companies such as HPCL, GHCL, HSIL and Maruti Suzuki and has published 20 research papers in leading journals.
